Plans and Policies for Communicating

Plan for engaging in regular, two-way communication with parents and Families

We are committed to fostering strong, two-way communication with families by providing weekly updates through emails or newsletters, maintaining an accessible class website with resources and classroom highlights, and scheduling regular parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress. I encourage ongoing dialogue through multiple channels such as email and phone, ensuring prompt responses. Additionally, I will involve students and families in sharing work and progress, invite parent participation in classroom activities, and seek feedback to continually improve our communication. This collaborative approach aims to build trust, keep families informed, and support each child's success both at school and at home.

Policy for returning emails and scheduling calls or conferences

My policy for returning emails, scheduling calls, and conferences is to prioritize timely and respectful communication. I will respond to all emails within 24 hours during weekdays, ensuring that families receive prompt answers to their questions or concerns. For scheduling calls or conferences, I am available before school from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM, after school from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, or by appointment during the school day if needed. I encourage families to reach out early to set up a mutually convenient time, and I will do my best to accommodate their schedules. If urgent matters arise outside of these times, please indicate the urgency in your message, and I will respond as soon as possible. Maintaining open, timely communication is important to me in supporting student success and building strong partnerships with families.
